SimTracks compares and analyses different simulation scenarios with each having different simulation parameters. Each scenario is visualized in the form of a track. All tracks share a common timeline and grow horizontally when the simulation advances. Tracks or simulation scenarios are created by the user and always have a parent-child relationship. They all share a common base track (root) that uses the starting simulation parameter values. Whenever a simulation parameter is changed, a new child track is created. The newly created child track uses the new parameter to advance its simulation scenario. While doing so, the parent tracks stays untouched and all its simulation parameters are kept the same. This enables a clear comparison between a scenario with a specific change of data/ values and an unaffected parent scenario. Therefore researchers can evaluate the impact that changed simulation parameters have into the simulation results.
